This year’s Spring meeting will be a rare chance for members to visit two lovely gardens and fritillary collections in the west country. This is in collaboration with The Lily Group. 10:30: A tour of Martyn & Alison Rix’s fascinating woodland garden and bulb collection. The garden is near Rose Ash, N Devon.
12:30: It is suggested that we have lunch in Knightshayes National Trust Garden, Bolham, Tiverton, Devon EX16 7RQ which is on the way to…
3:00: The garden of Paul Cumbleton and Colin Everett near Somerton, Somerset. They have a large fritillary collection, raised beds and a crevice garden with numerous bulbs and alpines. The meadow should also be awakening at this time with many unusual bulbs growing in the grass.
